It is my honor to invite you to join us for Christmas Eve services at First Assembly Community Ministries at 5PM and 6:30PM on December 24th. We welcome Christmas by celebrating with carols, communion, and candles.
Your entire family, from great grandparents to young children are welcome to join us for the service, that will last one hour. We will sing Christmas carols, listen to Christmas music by the choir, hear a brief, inspiring message, and take part in a breath-taking candle light moment while we sing, “Silent Night.” (If you have children between birth and Kindergarten and don’t wish to bring them into the service, we offer childcare for early childhood.)
If you need to hurry off to a family gathering afterwards, we won’t keep you, but you are also very welcome to enjoy a walk around the main lobby, taking in the beautiful Christmas vignettes, and even using them as a backdrop for your family photos.
My own family has always made a point to attend a Christmas Eve service. For us, it is a fabulous way to connect with the sacred meaning in the Christmas story. When we attend Christmas Eve service together, the rest of our celebrations seem more meaningful and enjoyable.
We hope these services connect everyone present with the joyous wonder of the Christmas story and with the God of Christmas. We’d love to welcome you and celebrate Christmas with you at First Assembly!
