How can we discover how to worship in a way that helps us break through to the God of heaven?

That’s what the message, from this past Sunday, posted below, is about.

The outline is here below, and both services are below that!

WORSHIP LIKE A CHAMPION
BIG QUESTION:  What is the biggest obstacleto worshipping God freely?
FEAR
The fear of people’s opinion will keep us from worshipping with abandon.
Proverbs 29:25  “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.”
FEAR, SIN, & SHAME
Sin causes shame and shame causes fear.
Genesis 3:8-10Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’ 10 He answered, ’I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.’”
ACCEPTANCE
Acceptance by God overcomes our sense of shame.
Ephesians 1:3-6  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”
Ephesians 2:8-9  “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
CONCLUSION:  Receiving grace from God conquersfear and shame, allowing anyone to worship like a champion.
