I love this time of year!  In every way, it captures my imagination, takes me back to my childhood, awakens an awareness of mystery and awe unlike any other season.

It’s as though the songs, the foods, the traditions–everything–carries with it undeniably sweet Spirit–God’s Spirit.  God calls us out to us every year at this point to remember what he is like, and who his Son is.

Advent begins this Sunday, and we’ll start preparing our hearts for what it all means with a four-Sunday series messages called “The Spirit of Christmas”.  For the believer, the Spirit of Christmas is the Holy Spirit.  We’ll focus our lens on four of the realities of the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christmas.  Join me at 9 & 11AM online or live.  See you there!
