Seven others from First Assembly left on Friday, June 22 for El Salvador to join the ministries of King’s Castle (pictured here to the left) for eight days! They’ll be helping to conduct medical outreach and working on maintenance of the King’s Castle campus.  Our group will be hosted by our very own Landon Thompson who has been a student at the Master’s Commission at King’s Castle in El Salvador for the past year!

I’m going down tomorrow to join the team for the next five days and will be speaking for a couple of those days at a pastor’s conference for leadership development along with my mentor and friend, Pastor Ron Bontrager.

Please pray for me and the rest of the team–John and Bonnie Thompson (team leaders), Marissa Brassie, Rhonda Cowell, Christena Fawcett, Carol Springgate, and Amanda Wilken during the coming week–for protection and effective ministry!

Beyond getting to partner with some of the most storied living missionaries in the Assemblies of God World Missions in Don and Terri Triplett, we’ve partnered in this trip with Lakeview Church in Indianapolis and hope it will be the first of many such ventures we can do with them.

Thanks for praying, and I’ll see you next Sunday!
