GOOD FRIDAY AT FIRST ASSEMBLY

I love Good Friday at First Assembly in Lafayette, Indiana.  The tone for the service is unlike any other during the year–a solemn time for reflection, worship, vigil, communion, and prayer.

We use interactive stations where people can do something while they pray and hear the story unfold as well as great music and even artistic outlet for those so inclined.  We’ll also have a sampling of Passover foods this year that will help us to connect more deeply with the story.

If you didn’t have the chance to attend last year, you won’t want to miss.  If you did attend last year, it won’t be the exact same thing, but we will still look to leave in silence honoring our Savior who was crucified this day.

Looking forward seeing you there!  Our theme, “Behold, the Lamb” is sure to take those in attendance deeper into the significance and power of the cross!  See you at 6:30!
