John and Carmine Puetz have been a part of First Assembly Community Ministries since early in 2016, and they have been serving in children’s ministries six months.  We’ve selected them as our “Volunteers of the Month” for October.  They have a passion for God and for children, and we are so pleased to feature them here.

Below are a few questions they answered recently:

Q:  What’s your favorite part of serving in KidzTown?

A:  We love laughing and being silly with the kids, but we consider it an honor, getting to pray with them on an individual basis. We hear such innocence, love and truth from them during those sweet opportunities….amazing!

Q:  What’s something special about you and your family?

A: We have been blessed with a fun little “mini-farm” that consists of 24 layer hens (with 10 different breeds), 5 show chickens, 1 rooster, 3 Cayuga ducks, 2 Pekin ducks, 2 Heritage breed turkeys, 2 Broad breed turkeys, and 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats – named Cupcake & Brownie!

Congratulations, John and Carmine, and thank you for making First Assembly a better place by serving like you do!
