First Assembly CommunityMinistries and the First Assembly Community Center announce “Community First Day” on Wednesday, July 29 from 6:30 pm to 8:30pm at First Assembly‘s campus at 108 Beck Lane. This is a free family-friendly event.  

If you are seeking employment, local employers and agencies will be set up for you to meet with on the spot.  Community resources are another focus for the Community First Day.  Local organizations will be onsite to discuss their services, including health and wellness, volunteer opportunities, parenting and child care helps. 

Additional, fun and age-appropriate activities for children and door prizes will be available!  

Some of the more than 30 participating organizations are Adventure Station, Caregiver Companion, CTI Personnel/CFA Staffing, Excel Center, Faith Community Development, Griefshare, Ivy Tech, Lafayette Police Department, Lifecare Services Pregnancy Center, Macaroni Kid, MOPS, Purdue Athletics, Shoaf Real Estate, Tippecanoe County Council on Aging, Willowstone Family Services, YWCA, YWCA Domestic Violence Intervention.
