Short-Term Missions Trips at First Assembly in 2015

Three trips are being organized by First Assembly Community Ministries in 2015!  See below for more details.

Intercession Trip in March.  Next month, we will see a team go to pray with missionaries in a sensitive country.  We’re thrilled to see the six people going to encourage our partners there and to pray for breakthrough in a part of the world where persecution for Christians is great.
Croix des Bouquets, Haiti in March with Convoy of Hope for .  June 5-12, we will be sending a team to Croix des Bouquets in Haiti, about 45 minutes from Port-au-Prince.  We will be partnering with Convoy of Hope, the official humanitarian and disaster relief partner of the Assemblies of God. While in Haiti we will be supporting the efforts of Convoy of Hope to feed people, and we will explore the feasibility of forging a lasting partnership with the Assemblies of God church in Croix des Bouquets. Seats are still open for this trip, and team members have already begun to meet as a small group at First Assembly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8PM. TRIP COST: $1500 per person, includes airfare and expenses once you are in country.
Lomé, Togo, West Africa, November 10-20.  This building team will finish the student center at West Africa Advanced School of Theology.  We will be partnering with Bernie and Brenda Smith, who are homegrown missionaries from First Assembly.  The Smiths have served more than 20 years in Africa and teach at this school that trains pastors, evangelists, missionaries and scholars.  TRIP COST: $2250 per person, includes airfare and expenses once you are in country.
