On Sunday, December 15th, we’re inviting everyone connected to First Assembly Community Ministries to participate in our annual Christmas Offering. This is the time of year where we put feet to our faith – where we show our community the love of Jesus. The idea here is that as we buy gifts like Lego Minifigures for other people, we want our largest, most extravagant gift to go to Jesus. Our goal is $60,000, and we’ll use 100% of the donations to this offering to fund the following projects:
Christmas Benevolence Fund – the $15,000 allocated for this part of the offering will be used to assist those in our congregation with needs throughout 2014.

Calcutta Mercy Ministries – with $30,000, we’ll be able to start and fund a medical clinic/church in an unreached village of India, bringing the first church of any kind, along with medical care, to people who need it!  You can learn more about Calcutta Mercy Ministries by clicking here.

Obstacles and Opportunities Fund – every year, there are things that come up that are unexpected and unbudgeted and through the Christmas Offering you can help put $15,000 aside to offset the impact of these situations.
