Have you ever been sitting in a service and wished you had been prepared to give to a missionary who was visiting or felt like God was directing you to give, but didn’t have a checkbook or something else with you to make it happen?  We’ve found a solution for just that situation!

A new path for giving is coming to First Assembly this weekend!  We’ll be introducing “Giving Kiosks” that will not only simplify giving when you are at church, but will also be integrated with an app for giving to First Assembly.

We will still be accepting gifts through our website at the page we have in the past.  You can click here to see it.

In order to learn more about the new online giving path or to sign up, you can visit a website we’ve established for online giving: https://firstag.securegive.com.

To get the app: search for SecureGive on your smartphone or pad or other device.
This new giving path makes it possible for anyone to donate from their mobile device or give at one of the new giving kiosks in the lobby.  The giving kiosks will make it possible to give or, in the near future, purchase things for sale in the lobby or make payments for things like retreats, activities or resources, simplifying many things at First Assembly.  The giving kiosks include a way to swipe your card and can store this information for easier access in the future.

By setting up a profile, which I’ve done for myself already, you’ll be able to bring up your information with a simple password and your phone number.  This system will be interfaced with our records keeping system, so all gifts given in this way will be easily trackable.
Security:
It’s all in the name. SecureGive has comprehensive security features to ensure the safety of sensitive data. Our software is validated to meet PCI requirements. We also provide SSL certificates for additional security.

Recurring Gifts:
Automate the important. In today’s fast paced world we continue to look toward technology to help bring simplicity to our busy schedules. SecureGive allows anyone to automate this important part of life with just a few clicks of a button.  Recurring giving with SecureGive will allow you  to schedule the best frequency and desired amount. It also provides real-time receipts and flexible donation management tools for your convenience.

Someone asked me once where all this stuff about automating giving and online giving is in the Bible.  I simply answered them by pointing to the abundance of scriptures that speak to us about the importance of faithfulness.  For me, online giving allows for greater faithfulness and more direct obedience when I hear God speaking to me about giving!

THANKS FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS IN GENEROSITY, AND I APPRECIATE HOW DILIGENTLY YOU TAKE OPPORTUNITIES TO GIVE!
