  1. Pastor Robby – You know, I have been thinking a lot lately about the irony of this one thing, that I am the only thing often stopping myself from being the person I would want to be, or the person I am called to be. And as I have been thinking about this, one thing that keeps coming to my mind is a concept I can't quite flesh out yet, but a concept of "fasting speech." Which I am honestly not even sure what that would mean or what that would look like. I am fairly certain it wouldn't be like, a vow of silence, because that would just be – impractical and over the top? – and yet, I really feel strongly that this concept of "fasting speech" or "fasting words" is something I need to be thinking about, and I wish I had a better grasp on what it even was. Of course, I know that the Scriptures famously tell us, "When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise." I guess it's something to think about, anyway.
